What do you get when one of Australia's leading a cappella vocal ensembles performs works inspired by one of Australia's Living National Treasures?
In this performance, the Song Company will perform twelve specially commissioned works drawn from the drawings and words of the Australian cartoonist, poet and cultural commentator, Michael Leunig. Each new song and story represents a month of the year, and is composed by a different leading composer, including Alice Chance, Drew Crawford, Gareth Farr, James Wade, Kate Moore, Kate Neal, Katy Abbott, Lachlan Skipworth, Lyle Chan, Mark Viggiani, Robert Davidson and Ruth McCall.
