If you were a journalism student at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and in Dr. Samir "Mr. Magazine" Husni's Magazine Service Journalism class this year, you would have been involved in an event of a lifetime – The Amplify, Clarify, Testify (ACT) 3 Experience.
The ACT Experience is a conference held every year, for 3 days in October, discussing how print is not dead and how digital media can help print magazines - not replace them.
This year's theme was: 'Never Underestimate the Power of Print in a Digital Age'.
Many magazine publishers, directors, CEO's and editors of an array of magazines, ranging from business all the way to fashion magazines were a part of this amazing experience as well as the dedicated journalism students from Ole Miss.

Some of the big time names at the event were: Executive Director of Multimedia Projects of Vanity Fair, Jamie Pallot, Publishing Director of Mood for Magazines and Linda. magazine from The Netherlands, Lisette Heemskerk, Co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of Blindfold Magazine, Jeremy Pritchett, and Publishing Director of Fab magazine from The Netherlands, Sanne Visser, who has also been the boosting publisher of Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan and Grazia magazines.
The 2012 ACT Experience was the most successful so far, and next year from October 29-31 the ACT 4 Experience will be held at the Overby Center, University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi.

Dr. Husni's journalism students, other Ole Miss journalism students and different magazine publishers, editor's, directors, etc, from all around the world are invited and can register next year for this amazing journalistic experience.
