Come along to a fantastic performance of a classic Hitchcock thriller, The 39 Steps. The 39 Steps will be performed at the Don Russell Performing Arts Centre, located on Murdoch Road in Thornlie, on Thursday 25th September, 2014, starting at 8pm.
Proudly brought to you by the City of Gosnells, this new version of The 39 Steps, promises to be a great night out that will be enjoyed by all who attend. The 39 Steps features more than a hundred wonderful characters, portrayed by four very talented actors.
Based on the classic 1935 Alfred Hitchcock thriller, from a novel by Scottish author John Buchan, The 39 Steps tells a story of mystery, murder and intrigue. Richard Hannay, the handsome hero of the story, returns home and meets a mysterious woman. She reveals a plot to smuggle military secrets out of the country, but later that night she is discovered murdered in Richard Hannay's apartment. Hannay manages to stay one step ahead of the police, and international spies, as he races to solve the murder mystery and find a man with a missing finger.
A fast-paced, hilarious comedy, the heart-racing adventures of Richard Hannay involve death-defying escapes from planes, trains and automobiles, with the beautiful Pamela by his side.
