I just love to fossick through bric-a-brac, knick-knacks and bits and pieces both old and new. , a gift shop in Medina, satisfies all my wants and needs.

Unassuming from the front, opens up like a magical world and eclectic is not the word for it. It's hard to know where to look first. The decor of the shop is early 20th century with the walls covered in excerpts from old newspapers. There are several comfy lounges that encourage customers to rest, have a coffee and catch up with the local gossip.

Vintage to now vinyl records, old books and preloved garments are just some of the delights. Sam, the owner, ensures that all items are first class. also supports local artisans and the shop includes handmade jewellery, works of art, hand-dyed silk scarfs and more. She also has a philosophy about recycling; NO plastic bags here.

The store is only open on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 – 1 pm and is well worth a visit but you need time to behold the wonders that you'll find. can be found at 13 Pace Road, Medina.

Sam, the owner, can be reached on 0451221464 or email [email protected].

Sam had an idea, which is now a reality and Medina is all the better for it.
