The Big Bang Theory, Metallica, Guns n' Roses, Nirvana, Sonic the Hedgehog, Albert Einstein, ACDC, Kings of Leon, Linkin Park and Marilyn Manson; these are just some of the T-Shirts available at That T-Shirt Place, Petrie. With a huge array of band shirts, TV-related shirts and other novelty T-shirts, That T-Shirt Place is a must for those who want to wear their favourite musicians or TV personalities (like Dr Sheldon Cooper) proudly upon their chest.
These shirts are good quality, and the sizes are generally spot-on. The cotton shirts don't itch, stretch or shrink, and aren't uncomfortable to wear. There are always new shirts available when you walk into the store, and always new slogan shirts to laugh and roll your eyes at. The best part is, when compared to other band shirts available in Queensland, not only are these shirts of better standard, they're also less expensive. With most shirts and jackets ranging from the 15 to 40 dollar mark, I'd say this place is worth a look.
Ian Greene has been running That T-Shirt Place for about three and a half years in a little store on Dayboro Road, Petrie. As well as this, you can catch Ian and his wares at the North Pine Country Markets down in Old Petrie Town almost every Sunday. Is it easy running a rocking t-shirt store in this day and age? Ian says no, but he knows his shirts are awesome and I guess he's staying true to what he believes in.

As well as the shirts, That T-Shirt Place also stocks a variety of pieces from Sourpuss and keeps a variety of badges, shoe-laces, cups, figurines and other unusual bits of 'home wares' for sale and show. For example you can find Spongebob Squarepants, Star Trek, The Nightmare before Christmas, Star Wars, Doctor Who, The Big Bang Theory, Superman and Freddy Kruger; just to name a few.
That T-Shirt Place really does have 'something for everyone', so have a peek at the Facebook page, give Ian a call or go on and visit him on Dayboro Road, Petrie. The store is open Tuesday-Friday from 10:30am-5pm and Saturday 10:30am-4pm. So go on, you know you want to.
