In the spirit of the Choir of Hard Knocks, The Sydney Street Choir and the Australian Pop Choir and Pop Kidz comes TheCho!r, the latest non-professional adult choir created by Dr Jonathon Welch AM. In their forthcoming performance, Thank You For the Music, TheCho!r will be performing some great pop tunes from the '70's at the Collingwood Town Hall.
Singing in support of the St Vincent's Foundation, guests will enjoy a wide repertoire of music garnered from the 1970's. We're talking Queen, ABBA, David Bowie, The Carpenters, Peter Allen, Elton John, Barry Manilow and many more. You'll know the tunes. You may even know the words so come sing along with this enthusiastic social choir.
There will be a distinctly cabaret atmosphere with seats being sold around tables of 10, and there will be refreshments available to purchase. More than simply a concert, Thank You For the Music will be an interactive experience. Why not invite your family and friends to join you.
Tickets are $35 for adults, and $25 for concession & under 18's, and can be purchased online at trybooking or direct your queries to 0439 244 429.
