It's where the locals head to get a good meal – and where they take their friends to eat.

The décor isn't anything to rave about. The tables and set up is mainly to get the most customers in without the least bit of fuss.

The menu is available in several languages and is also available on big boards on the wall (did I mention that the décor was limited).

The food is your standard fare of Vietnamese cuisine – so expect dishes that are fresh and full of flavour. The quality is really good and the prices reasonable.

The servings are large so be prepared for the large bowls that are deposited on your table. Condiments come without having to ask, although if you need an extra hit of chilli then you can always ask the servers.

The service can be hit and miss and they aren't there to talk, so forget about having banter with your server. They'll take your order and not long after they'll come with a tray with all the food you've ordered. Tea is provided and they'll refill if you ask.

They do have other drinks including fresh coconut juice from a coconut.

If you can avoid the meal time rush you'll be able to eat at a more leisurely pace, otherwise be prepared for a bit of chaos.

There's a few parking station nearby as street parking is hard to find.
