A perfect combination of spicy Thai and tasty Chinese
We love this time of the year, as the days become shorter and the air temperature drops. The evening meals move towards being more hearty to help keep you warm.
We love to dine out this time of the year and we always seem to cravitate towards hot and spicy dishes. And usually hot and spicy to us means Thai food. We found ourselves looking around in Cleveland for a 'local' Thai restaurant last week when we drove past a brightly coloured shop front that caught our eye: Thai Siam.
Thai Siam is along one of the main streets within the heart of Cleveland and is a mix of Thai and Chinese cuisine. It is good for those who can't decide between Thai or Chinese as it serves both. Thai Siam is opened early for dinner at 4.30pm 6 days a week, and is licenced and BYO. It has a comprehensive take away menu or equally impressive dine in menu including several banquet options.
We were quite hungry and ordered a mixed entree to start with. The mixed entree consisted of a combination of Thai (coconut prawn, satay chicken) and Chinese (spring roll, steamed dim sim) for $10.
