At the end of a busy week on a Friday night, there is nothing better than sitting down, relaxing at a nice restaurant and having a good feed. This is what we did recently when we paid a visit to Thai Passion Plus. Thai Passion Plus is located in the City Centre, in World Centre and maybe a little tricky to find if you haven't been before. The quickest access to the restaurant is via the Horden Arcade, near the corner of Pitt and Liverpool streets.
The restaurant has a simple, yet welcoming feel about it, , which incised me in the first time I visited. After being seated, and provided with water for the table, I decide to order my favourite Thai dish, Penang Curry, my partner ordered the Salt and Pepper Squid, and we agreed on an entrée of Spring Rolls to share.
The Spring Rolls looked fresh and tasted delicious. They were packed with vegetables and the pastry was light and crisp. Adding a little dipping sauce to the Spring Rolls, helped enhance the flavour of the dish that little bit more.
The Penang Curry was thick and creamy and contained plenty of vegetables. Just want I needed to keep me fit and healthy. The meal was also served with a side of boiled rice. The mixture of the different colours in the presentation of the dish made it look very appetising, especially if you are a lover of Thai food like me. If there was anything that I could fault with the meal, it was that I would have liked more of it, even though I would say the helping weren't small by any standard. I'd happily order the Penang Curry again, the probability is pretty high that I will do so in the near future.
Thai Passion Plus is pleasant casual dining venue in the middle of the city. I have been there a couple of times now, and each time I've been I have thoroughly enjoyed the food and the overall experience.
