With a hankering one night for Thai and our old trusty faithful Thai "go to" restaurant we had recently learned was no longer, we of course googled and came up with Thai House.
Thai House is set in a beautiful spot at the Marina in Sanctuary Cove and with picturesque water views, it is incredibly peaceful. Indeed we felt relaxed and comfortable as soon as we got there.
The restaurant on arrival was abuzz with people, an enjoyable vibe. We sat down and pondered the delectable dishes on the menu.
Super comfy chairs
For starters we shared Vegetarian Spring Rolls in Sweet Chilli Dipping Sauce and Chicken Satay. Both dishes were delicious and I would definitely recommend the spring rolls, perfect rolls they were.
Vegetarian Spring Rolls
Chicken Satay Sticks - yum
For mains it was a hard decision but we eventually chose Chicken Green Curry and Kailin Pork with steamed rice, both incredibly brilliant and went down well as we lingered over a beautiful bottle of Sauvignon Blanc.
As for dessert, what can I say but Deep Fried Ice-cream (to share of course)! May not be everyone's choice but hey, we love it.
Hats off to the Chef, the Thai House delivers delicious authentic Thai food. Meals were good generous portions (big enough for the hungry men in our lives or just big enough to share), and as usual we ate way too much. Then again, it was hard not to.
Service was great, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Meals I thought were reasonably priced and with BYO makes it quite affordable. Vegetarian dishes on the menu too.
Thai House is easy to find and there is plenty of parking out front. It is BYO wine or licensed and comes with takeaway menu option as well. Great idea to book beforehand.
