The Thai Language Centre of Perth puts this event on at Asia House in the Australia-Asian Association of WA building in Perth, which is Perth's original Thai Street Food Eatery.
The food is from all areas of Thailand as we have about 10,000 Thai people living here, and you will find Thai food to be very tasty and varied.
Pad Thai and Coconut Pork Skewers
There are all sorts of foods available including desserts.
Typical Thai desserts
Some of the things you may get include a Thai curry, Pad Thai, spring rolls, fish dishes, Beef rendang, pork dishes, sago desserts, and heaps more. There are usually about 12 different stalls of people who are selling their home made cooking to the public.
Their prices are very reasonable and you can eat inside or you can take the food home to eat. Either way, it will be a lunch that you will enjoy and you can see exactly what you are getting before you order it. You can sometimes even try some if you are not sure about a meal.
The vendors do not compromise on quality despite their reasonable prices, and although this is certainly not a "flash" place to eat, it is interesting with several nationalities and languages.
But wait - THERE'S MORE! As well as great food you will also be able to see Thai dance performances, similar to those that you see in Thailand.
The whole family is welcome to come and enjoy the best Thai street food available in Perth, and you can buy extra to save you cooking for a few days!
