Royal Thai Embassy presents Thai Festival 2016. This year the festival is back with four main themes: Food, Fashion, Fruits, and Fun.
Thai food is one of the most popular dishes in the world. It is rich in flavors and strong aromas. Enjoy mouth watering authentic Thai food such as pad thai (fried glass noddles), som tam (papaya salad), tom yum gong, fried rice, green curry chicken, and many more.
Satisfy your sweet tooth with delightful Thai traditional cakes and desserts such as khao neow ma muang (mango sticky rice), mamuang nam pla wan (green mango with sweet sauce), the colorful miniature look choop (mung bean candy). Thai fish sauce, Thai curry, and many cooking condiments will be available for sale.
Feast on the king of fruits from Thailand. Tropical fruits such as mango, mangosteen, guava, rambutan and coconut are available for your purchase. Durian chips, dried tamarinds, and other dried fruits will be here too.
Fashionistas can shop till they drop with varieties of traditional and modern accessories and jewelry such as earrings, rings, bracelets, hair pins, necklaces, and fashionable clothes, without burning a hole in your pocket traveling to Bangkok.
Have fun watching cultural Thai performances. There will be traditional Thai and modern singing and dancing, Muay Thai, and Thai cooking demonstration.
