After successful events in 2018 and 2019, the Thai-Australian Association of South Australia is pulling out all the stops to deliver another celebration of Thai and Isan culture at Thai Festival 2020! This festival will showcase the beautiful best of the traditional food, costumes and culture of the North-eastern Isan region of Thailand.
Watch traditional Thai dances, Muay Thai demonstrations (a form of boxing) or get a traditional Thai massage. All to the sounds of live Thai folk music.
Browse the arts and craft stalls or set the kids free in the kid's zone. Once the cooking demonstrations have made you hungry, you can head over to the 30-plus stalls and find some tasty Isan and Thai street food offerings to try. Isan food is a delicious regional Thai food in which glutinous rice and chilli peppers are prominent.
