A celebration of great food and community spirit

Thank God its Friday (TGIF) Hawkers Market is open each week throughout the summer.

Located at John Macmillan Park on Sussex Street (next to the Vic Park Library), this family-friendly attraction is open from 5pm to 9pm.

After a long working week, come along to TGIF and find a spot on the green.

Spend a leisurely evening with friends and family and dine on freshly prepared cuisine from the Caribbean, Malaysia, Thailand, Spain, Vietnam, Australia, France, Morocco, Sicily, Turkey, Japan, India, Mexico, Ireland and America.

Adding to the bustling atmosphere is great live music from talented local acts each week.

Plus event-goers are encouraged to bring soccer balls and cricket bats for a friendly game or two! And even the family dog can have a run around the park!

Come along each Friday and enjoy all that this laid-back event has to offer - plus on Australia Day (Monday, 26th January 2015) there will be a fantastic fireworks display.

great market, lots of variety & loads of space for the kids to run around in, even music. There are tables & chairs but lots of people take a picnic rug. Great for a summers evening
