Buffalo Wings are a fairly typical American dish, no wonder these spicy chicken wings are on the menu at TGI Friday's. No, they're not named after buffalo of the animal variety, but Buffalo, New York, where they originates.
The wings at TGI Friday's are covered in a spicy sauce, and come served with sticks of celery, and a blue cheese sauce. They are a little spicy, so stay away if you don't like hot food, but chilli fiends will find them pretty mild.
The blue cheese sauce can be a bit overpowering, it may be a bit of an acquired taste. As for the celery? That's one tradition we don't quite get. It's hard to know whether they're to be eaten on their own, or somehow in the same bite as the chicken wings and sauce.
