One year, I was extremely lucky to be taken to TGI Fridays for an all-paid-for meal at a work Christmas party. Even luckier, the bosses went home and we were left to enjoy the night with TGI's famous cocktails on the company credit card. The cocktails here are incredible in size, alcohol and flavour. There are 12, yes 12 pages of alcoholic beverages to choose from (and mocktails so everyone can have fun) so you don't want to be the designated driver on a night at TGI's.
TGI drinks include the usuals like Bloody Mary's, fruit daiquiris, long island iced tea, martinis and mohitos. Yet they have such an extensive range of creative-flavoured cocktails, you won't know where to begin.
We began with TGI's version of a Pina Colada, made with rum, coconut cream, pineapple juice and their own pina colada mix. It was very easy to drink because of its fruitiness and the coconut cream gave it an indulgent edge. We ended with an Ultimate Mudslide, a chocolate laced avalanche of Kahlua, vodka, Baileys and ice cream. It was huge and sickly sweet that it would be a much better idea to share it with someone special.

Other drinks I can't wait to try include the Pink Punk Cosmo with vodka, fresh lime, cranberry and pineapple juice poured over candy floss. The Bahama Mama with Malibu, rum, grenadine, banana liqueur, pineapple and orange juice. And the Electric Lemonade with vodka, blue Curacao, sweet and sour mix and lemon lime soda. Next time you're looking for a great night out, head to TGI's.
