Who gave this kitty a phone?
texts from mittens, book, books for cat lovers, funny books, humour

This is the third book based on Angie Bailey's popular blog. which is made up of text messages from a cat to his owner, as well as to other people and cats. This volume features Mitten's family and friends, including his human "mum", Grandma, Stumpy the dog and Mitten's girlfriend, Fiona.

I thought the idea of a cat sending text messages was cute, but the humour was just not my cup of tea.

This book is probably strictly for serious cat lovers, who might find it funnier than I did. It probably also helps if you read it a few pages at a time instead of reading the whole book in one sitting, since it gets a bit monotonous. Apparently, there is also a Texts From Mittens desk calendar, which I suspect is a better format for these little jokes.

Disclaimer: I was given a complimentary copy of this book by Andrews McMeel Publishing, via NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review.
