If you're in town, Geelong city that is, and you've had a big night, there is nothing more enjoyable than walking to Mercer Street for a big, old fashioned Texas hamburger.
Texas Hamburgers or Texas Hamburger and Pizza House, is a large restaurant just outside of Geelong city on Mercer Street. It is clean and tidy and has a large dining area inside. There are also tables and chairs out on the pavement.
Texas Hamburgers make hamburgers, toasted sandwiches, pizza, there are usually dim sims, savs in batter and potato cakes in the bain marie. You can buy soft drink, lollies, potato chips, etc. so if you're off on a drive out of the city, you can stock up on munchies before you leave.
Reviews of Texas Hamburger House are quite positive with most people's reviews complimenting the tasty hamburgers. You can dine in or take away food at your take away food, one stop shop.

Bacon, eggs, tomato on toast
My friend and I were out and about yesterday, Sunday 1st June. It was a cold, wet day so we decided to go for a drive and have some lunch. We had toasties and cappucino at Texas Hamburgers. I had ham, cheese and tomato, and my friend had chicken, cheese and mayonnaise.
We ate our toasties and drank our cappucinos outside, under the verandah. It looked like it was going to be a wet day, however it was nice sitting there, watching the traffic go by, listening to the roar of the motorbikes, as their riders pulled in to dine at Texas Hamburgers.
After we finished lunch we headed off on our "wet day" adventure. Next stop Barwon Heads.
