Turn your humble garden into a private paradise at The Tesselaar Gardening and Plant Expo.



Over the weekend of 18th & 19th April 2015, the Tesselaar Gardens (home of the highly anticipated Tesselaar Tulip Festival) are hosting The Tesselaar Gardening and Plants Expo.



With over 40 different nurseries and plant growers on display, you are sure to unearth a wealth of plant and gardening treasures from rare plants, bulbs and perennials; to wall art, gardening tools, watering systems and books.

A comprehensive list of sellers, products and plants available to buy are listed on the web site.



Gates open from 9am – 4pm each day and all tickets are considered a 'Weekend Pass'.

Adult tickets cost $16 each, with concession $13. Groups of 4 tickets and more are also available at the concession rate of $13 and party members do not need to attend the expo together. Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate.



Master-of-Ceremonies, Stephen Ryan, will introduce guest speakers offering inspiration and guidance through a series of talks right across the weekend. Highlights include rose maintenance, rare and unusual bulbs, heirloom vegetables and flowers, how to succeed with peonies and growing orchards in Victorian backyards. There is plenty of free, on-site parking with public toilets and disabled facilities.

A variety of food stalls will ensure you don't go hungry, from poffertjes, the Silvan CFA BBQ, Timboon Fine Ice-cream, Victorian Baked Potatoes, Rochester Ginger and Caffee Alfresco. Guests are also welcome to bring their own picnic.
