BRUNCH IT UP
Teru Cafe in Glebe was a pleasant surprise. Mother's Day this year, my husband and daughter wanted to take me out for brunch, how very sweet. They decided that Glebe would be the best place to find things open, so, they got me out of bed earlier than I would have liked, being my day and all.
We found a few good places to go to in Glebe and most of them do have gluten free options, however, this particular one, perhaps from the art hanging off the walls allured me.
There was a lot to choose from the menu, and were all clearly marked with spots to show the veggie or gluten free options.
Looking around the room, the place was starting to fill and most people were just staring up at the artwork on the walls.
The walls complimented the rustic feel and, complimented the whole 'I'm from Glebe and things don't have to match' look. I loved it.
I was borderline starving (not that we starve in Australia), so I ordered the prosciutto and egg on gluten free toast. It was huge, I couldn't eat it all.
My daughter had the delicious looking pancakes and my husband, had the delicious looking BLT with haloumi on the side... made my mouth water looking at it.
We had such a lovely time with the very friendly staff, I was so full though and really just wanted to sit, read the paper and order more of their fabulous coffee.
Teru is just across from the Glebe Saturday Markets, what a bonus that is.
All in all, I had a great day with great brunch, and yes, I left a tip.
