Terrey Hills Tavern

Home > Sydney > Pubs | Food and Wine
Published March 22nd 2012
Terrey Hills Tavern used to be a sad place, with stained carpet, average food and a bunch of local alcoholics as its salient features. Unless it was your soccer team's end of season dinner, you would rarely show your face at the Tav, as it was and is still known.

How times have changed! What was once a dingy pub on the edge of extinction is now a lively and fun venue popular with all ages. The menu is great now - try the margarita pizza, prawn linguine or one of the excellent daily desserts that are all on offer. With membership, the already cheap prices come down even further.

The same applies to drinks; yummy, well priced and even more affordable if you're here frequently.

The food and drink isn't the only appeal though - the venue itself is really nice. In winter, it's ideal to cuddle up near the giant open fire with a hot chocolate. Summertime invites sitting in the huge outdoor dining area, preferably on a couch or in a comfy chair. The whole place is family friendly, but not to the alienation of other groups.

Good food and drinks, nice vices and friendly service keeps everyone coming back.
