There are many shops selling jewellery but not many actual jewellers. Brett is one of the latter, making, repairing and selling jewellery in Mooroolbark for over 35 years.

His shop is in the Mooroolbark Terrace on Brice Avenue.

Jewellery shops and watches are usually associated and Brett has a large range of popular brands.

A large range of watch batteries are available as virtually all watches these days are battery-powered. Although, Brett can also repair old watches.

Other accessories for watches are a large range of leather and metal watch bands.

specialise in hand made jewellery. They use 9, 14, and 18-carat gold as well as platinum, silver and palladium.

They can also restore and repair antique pieces of jewellery.

One of their core businesses is engagement rings. "I've had some really loyal customers that have kept coming back and their kids have come in to get engagement rings," said Brett in a recent interview with a local paper.

While I was in the store taking photos, several customers entered and were greeted by name. How often does that happen these days?

All your rings can be re-sized if your fingers have lost weight, or gone in the opposite direction. Another of Brett's skills is valuations of your jewellery, which are very important if you are wanting to sell them or for insurance purposes.
