Enter a sordid triage of tragedy where multiple characters collide in a fatalistic story of violence, death and redemption in 'Terminus' by North of Eight Theatre Company at The Courthouse Hotel. Book your tickets here and book a table for pre-show dinner.

Written by acclaimed Irish playwright Mark O'Rowe, 'Terminus' is a 100-minute play (with no interval) in which the horror of the unfolding tragedy mesmerises and holds the audience in suspense to the very end.

Set in Ireland, a young woman decides to head out on the town; drinking, fraternising and a fast car pursuit ensues and she is thrust into a 'near death experience', limbo, and the underworld. Here she considers her destiny against her past and present; caught between redemption and damnation.

This play takes you on twists and turns like a fast car ride, and at times the 'devil in the detail' is both gut wrenching and fantastic. Delivered with distinct Irish accents and James Joyce style poetic prose the script is challenging in plot, form and delivery. With the essence of authentic storytelling, North of Eight deliver an epic performance with keen attention to the language, allowing the voices of the characters and the writer to shine.

No 'stone is left unturned' in this dark and dangerous play, with intertwining perspectives of characters flirting between protagonist, antagonist, witness and victim; heaven and hell.

Warning: You will ponder death, life, and everything in between.
