TEQUILA on the town? Or a breaky OJ before a mountain climb? My monthly column 'Tequila Sunrise' is the combination of both (just like its namesake!) And with Spring well underway, it's time to shake off that winter hibernation and what better way to do that then with my top picks for sunrise adventures right around the corner in November 2014 - whether you are heading home after a long night or your day is just getting started..

NIK'S PIK - THOSE who are familiar with my journey would know that I am on a constant quest to lead a healthier and cleaner lifestyle. And to create one for the world in which we live along the way!! Sharing these treasures of tips and information with an audience is part of the responsibility. So it's no surprise then that the highlight of this month's calendar is The Surfrider Eco Challenge at Buddina. The Eco Challenge is about communicating the principles of green living and sustainability and heralding them to the world! The family fun day shares a very serious theme in highlighting a joint Sunshine Coast and Surfrider Foundation campaign "Rise Above Plastics" - a call to people young and old to help stop our oceans from becoming a plastic soup.
