If you enjoy seeing young people empowered with confidence, then you won't want to miss a talented group of creatives taking centre stage at the Bondi Pavilion with an immersive retelling of Little Red Riding Hood(Tender Young Creatures). Commencing 16 April and running until 29 April, there will also be youth ukulele workshops, ukulele concerts, and devising workshops run by The House That Dan Built.
This musical and theatrical fortnight is providing young women aged 9 to 20 years old, with the opportunity to gain confidence by honing the power of their voices and unleashing their creative inner spirits. The whole family will enjoy the season of Tender Young Creatures performance and workshops.
Attendees will work with the cast of 'Tender Young Creatures' to learn skills for interactive vocal and visual performance. These workshops will encourage participants to use their voices in a fun-filled day that will result in a performance involving all workshop participants.
24, 25 April - 2 Day Song Writing and Ukelele Workshop
The House That Dan Built creates art with young women that can have a lasting impact, not only on the girls who participate, but in our communities. Why bottle it up inside, when you can express your emotions with a voice and a ukulele? Artistic Director of The House That Dan Built, Danielle O'Keefe has created this fabulous opportunity for young women to shine.

Tender Young Creatures is a live theatre installation centred around a theme of young women walking around at night. Inspired by the classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood, the performance is a contemporary look at the 'Wolf' who lives inside us.
