Singing for the Heart and Soul
Join Trish Watts, pioneer of Voice Movement Therapy in Australia and Sydney Threshold Choir for a healing singing workshop over the Christmas period.

We all know that as happy as we are 'supposed' to be over the holidays, it can also be a hard time for many people especially those of us that have lost loved ones.

As Trish says, "This practical workshop is for those who find the Christmas Carols, tinsel and the expectations of the Christmas season difficult. We will learn songs that assist in the recovery process for those who are experiencing grief or loss of any kind. "

You may be thinking, but I don't have a great voice, I can't sing.

That isn't the purpose of this workshop, it is for all of us to gather and join voices against the loneliness that can sometimes happens in the Holiday season.

Singing leads to a feeling of joy

Having done singing workshops with Trish in the past, I can attest to what an incredible experience it is to sing with her. Her voice is crystal clear and pure and pulls out in you an ability to sing that maybe you didn't realise you had.

Singing in a group is a very meditative experience where you feel revived and refreshed, with a new sense of purpose and clarity.

If you are looking for a new experience that is really beautiful and empowering I highly suggest you go to Tender Heart Sings at Beyond the Ordinary Tea House on Sunday 8th of December.

Lovely group of people to sing with

Songs that are soothing for the heart, healing for the mind and
create a sense of harmony, calm and reassurance.
