Tibetan Buddhist Institute invites you to a Ten Day Lamrim Meditation Retreat at Woodhouse Activity Centre in the beautiful Adelaide Hills from Friday 28th of September to Monday 8th of October 2018.
Geshe Jampa Gyaltsen, a monk scholar of the highest calibre will be the teacher at this retreat.
Geshe Jampa Gyaltsen is the spiritual successor and Heart Son of one of the greatest spiritual masters of this age, Kyabje Khensur Rinpoche (close friend of His Holiness 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet). He is currently the resident teacher at Tibetan Buddhist Institute in Flinders Park SA.
Geshe-la is a teacher of outstanding qualities having studied for 24 years in Sera Monastic University, one of the most academically rigorous and exacting of the Tibetan monasteries, where he attained the qualification of Lharam Geshe, the highest monastic academic standard which only 5% of Geshes achieve.
There is no other Tibetan Buddhist teacher in SA of this standard and Geshe-la is one of only a handful of Lharam Geshes teaching in Australia.
All are welcome to join Geshe-la and fellow friendly and supportive students in the peaceful serenity of the Adelaide Hills. The beautiful natural environment is ideal for study, mindfulness and meditation to gain deep realisations of Buddhist teachings.
The cost includes all teachings and guided meditations, 3 meals and morning/afternoon tea per day and accommodation.
