The cleverly named Spensley Street Primary School Fair is certainly no gamble. By all means come Tempt 'Fete' on Saturday 22nd October 2016, because you will not go home disappointed. One glance at the school's website and it is immediately clear this fete is in very good hands. Someone extremely capable is at the helm organising what promises to be a huge day of family fun.
Their celebrity coup is something to brag about. Aussie comedian Dave O'Neil, television and radio personality Dylan Lewis and actor Karen Davitt will be on hand to host the events on the main stage, which will feature live entertainment as well as a live auction.
Tempting Fete will be a feast of shopping, activities, entertainment and food. Start off browsing the second hand stalls while live bands set a festive tone and get your feet a-tapping. Pick up a plant or two for the garden while kids participate in a range of activities including craft and games. They may even take home a prize. Also, don't leave before you've placed a bid on one or more lots in the silent auction. You never know what you might win.
There'll be plenty of food, including hot fare and sweet treats to consume throughout the afternoon. Then purchase a cake to take home and share later.
Ride wristbands can be purchased through trybooking.com and non-students can collect their wristbands from the ticket booth on the day.
Tempting Fete is being held on Saturday 22nd October 2016 from 10am to 4pm at the Spensley Street Primary School, 193 Spensley Street, Clifton Hill. Entry to the fete is free. Find out more about the fete by following the link to their Facebook page here.
