Templestowe Village is a small community shopping area situated on James Street, Anderson Street and Parker Street in Templestowe. The Village Festival has been held annually since 1993 and is a great family friendly event and depicts the community spirit in this local area.
The 2014 Festival is to be held on Sunday 30th March with local street closures enabling a safe environment and lots of events planned on the main street (James Street) within the shopping centre. The Festival commences at 9am and concludes at 5pm and is a great day out for all the family. There is always lots of things happening, roving entertainers, lots of market stalls and business exhibits to browse, food stalls, plus the array of local cafes and restaurants within this precinct.
The day is always full of fun packed activities with some rides and attractions for the children. You can subscribe to the Festival mailing list for upcoming news on the Festival Program which is still being developed.
If you are interested in being a stallholder, further information and an application form can be found here.
Come along during the morning, enjoy the festival highlights, have some brunch at the local cafes, or head over in the afternoon and enjoy a nice lunch at the many restaurants to choose from.
