In a world of flat-pack mass-produced Swedish furniture, it's nice to see Temple and Webster support emerging Australian designers in producing beautiful pieces of furniture.
Temple and Webster are holding an exclusive Pop Up Exhibition at The School (Dunning Avenue, Rosebery) showcasing the works of ten nominated Australian Emerging Designers to celebrate the launch of the 2014 Emerging Designer Award. This will be a one-day event held on May 2nd from 9am-5pm, open to the general public.
Lovers of interior design and beautiful furniture will be able to view the designers' unique works up close, and vote for their favourite design.
The shortlisted nominees include Guy Keulemans, Coco Reynolds, Ben Wahrlich, Dale Hardiman & Adam Lynch of Dowel Jones, Viktor Legin & Edward Linacre of Copper, Liam Mugavin, Rowen Wagner, Alex Gilmour & Dominic Chong of Evie Group, Cindy-Lee Davies and Andy Grigor. The exhibition will be a celebration of the design, work and careers of Australia's most exciting emerging furniture and interiors product designers.
Attendees are welcome to submit votes at the exhibition, or learn more about each of the nominees and cast their vote
online before voting ends on 12th May.
Fans will also be able to shop at a specially curated collection featuring products from each of the designers at Temple & Webster.
