Perth French Theatre is proudly presenting TEMPETE, a brand new sensory experience in the special location of Locally Crafted, Burswood. Tickets are now on sale.
Playing for a strictly limited season (29 May to 2 June), this unique theatre event is designed to engage the five senses and explore the incredible power of language.
Directed by Stella Sulak and featuring a talented case of eight actors and two dancers, TEMPETE celebrates the life of Helen Keller, one of the 20th century's leading humanitarians, who overcame the adversity of being blind and deaf to become the first deaf-blind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree.
The production will centre on the miracle of the human nature and the powerful capacities of the deaf and blind.
The characters, time and location of the original play have been updated for this production, allowing the audience to directly engage with the timeless subject matters.

The cast includes Macarius Abatania, Trent Arnold, Pierre Bessiere, Sabine Desmond, Stuart Gunning, Sonia Haidri, Emmanuelle Lacassagne, Nola Moreau, Charlotte Welker, John Yeomans and dancers Ea Sulak and Alex Abbot.
The crew includes Music & Sound by Louis; Lighting Design by Nemo of CSevent; Translation & Surtitles by Rowena Putland and Graphic Design & Media by Sarah of Turquoise Creative. The performance will be accompanied by surtitles.
