Do you believe in the impossible? This is a must-see show that will challenge your mind about the dexterity and sheer willpower of mere mortals.

The stage is littered with a collection of crazy, unusual mysteries and curiosities for the modern era. A lobotomy kit, a cast of the elephant man and a Fijian mermaid are amongst the treasures on display. It doesn't take long to figure out that this is going to be a memorable performance unlike anything you've ever seen before and loads of fun.

Tempest in a Teacup is a highly unique and spellbinding magical, psychotic circus. Presented by the world-renowned Guinness World Records winner Aerial Manx. During most of the show he wears not much else other than his devilish boyish smile and hard earned rippled muscles. No complaints there.

Returning to Melbourne after international performances at the Genting International Showroom and as a guest star with Ed Alonzo's Psycho Circus, Aerial Manx is set to blow your mind with this new vaudevillian variety freak show performance.

This breathtaking show is both a revival of the 'Gentleman Juggling" style of the late 1800's and a modern style freak show with dark magic. The show begins with an impossible acrobatic ball balancing performance. This defies the rules of gravity and is absolutely enthralling. He juggles, runs on his hands while bent over backwards, does back flips and ties himself in a knot.

I was totally engrossed (and admit to covering my eyes on occasion) from the very first act to the end. I was surprised how quickly the audience rose to cheer and scream.

Aerial Manx is multi-talented. He is a talented acrobatic, a master sword swallower (connected to electricity no less!), and an experienced contortionist of the highest quality. It is with much admiration that I commend him on the lifetime of practice he must have put into perfecting these unusual dying acts. Accompanied by his wife, she performs a few daring and death defying acts of her own. I can't imagine her telling her parents about her new beau and what he does for a living. To top it off, how would she explain that she wanted to run away with him to lay on a bed of nails and try to get free from a straight jacket!

Aerial is a multiple Guinness World Records winner for his incredible stunts including performing multiple back flips whilst swallowing a sword, the fastest human backbend walk and the heaviest weight to be dangled from a swallowed sword. OUCH!

This show is sure to have wide appeal. Aerial Manx is a topnotch showman who clearly loves what he does. So many times during the show I thought I couldn't look, yet I could not look away.

His performance is truly hypnotic and not to be missed. I let out an audible 'Woah' when the show finished. This show remarkably raised some important questions and revelations. My partner asked 'What have I done with my life?". He also said he'd never complain about a sore throat again!

This is weird live theatre at it's best. I dare you not to be engrossed. But be warned … this is not the Sound of Music!

DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!
