Teddy Bears' Picnic at the Perth Zoo

The Perth Zoo will be holding its annual Teddy Bears' Picnic on Sunday, 10 March 2019 to help raise awareness of endangered species of bears like the Sun Bear. The Sun Bear is a bear from Southeast Asia. It has been listed as vulnerable due to habitat destruction, poaching and the restaurant trade reducing its global population.

The Teddy Bears' Picnic will run from 9am to 3pm and will include a lot of fun activities for kids. There will be face painting and body art, special guests and characters to meet and play with, a pirate castle, a Wonderland to explore, storytelling and a ton of giant games.

The standard admission entry fee of $32 will apply to adults (16 years and older) but children between 4 and 15 years will be able to enter the zoo for just $2. Children under the age of 4 will be free. The discounted $2 tickets for children will only be available on the day of the Teddy Bears' Picnic via the main entrance.
