The annual Technicolour Multicultural Festival is back for its 7th year on 24 August 2019 for a day of family fun. The festival runs from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This free community event is presented by the Multicultural Community Centre (MCC) and will be held at 23 Foster Street, Newmarket.
Join in the festival fun with a range of activities for all ages including:
International food and markets Kidzone with games, jumping castles free kid's face painting, petting zoo, raffle draw, live performances,
school art competition, and workshops,
This year's Technicolour Multicultural Festival has partnered with the AEIOU Foundation and will open its gates at 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM for the families with children with autism. The AEIOU Foundation aims to create brighter futures for children with autism and is a leading provider of early intervention programs for children aged 2 to 6 years.
As well as hosting the festival, the Multicultural Community Centre also provides government-funded programs to assist CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) people.
