A fabulous cup of tea awaits you in Tallebudgera Valley. Take a trip to . This magnificent, charming teahouse set in beautiful gardens will delight all tea lovers.

It is a well kept secret, a splendid traditional style European tea house awashed in white and absolutely picturesque, serene and peaceful, taking you back in time to the gorgeous garden parties of the forties.

I went along for high tea, with a group of girlfriends to celebrate birthdays that have come and gone over the past month. It has taken us a while to set a date that suited everyone, but finally, we did.

We arrived to be seated at a beautiful table, white table cloth adorned with roses, divinely crafted sugar cubes and delightful individual tea settings.

To start we each had a choice of teas, I chose coconut tea, an enjoyable tea infused with coconut brewing in its own individual teapot. Plated tiers of delicious bite size morsels arrived. On the bottom tier we had lovely petite sandwiches and savouries, "to die for" sweet treats in the middle, with a top tier of the most delicate tiny scones with jam and cream. My favourite was the lemon slice, absolutely yum but I am also a sucker for scones, jam and cream. We finished with the option of having another pot of tea or coffee.

All in all, we had a fantastic time, it was nice to catch up. We had a lovely relaxing afternoon, full of laughs, beautiful tea, food and great company. The staff were a vision in white, friendly and personable.

This is a great place for a get together, for a special event/function or just a cup of tea with Mum or the girls. also caters for morning tea, afternoon tea and have a great a la carte and all day rustic ploughman's lunch menu as well. You must check out the French Pavilion courtyard, the beautiful gardens, patios and the shop - full of tea, gifts and fabulous clothes. I am looking forward to visiting next time to try the Devonshire tea.

It is indeed time for tea...
