Who let the dogs out… and then got them back in the yard without yelling?
So you've just bought a new puppy and he's snuggled up on your lap, looking up at you with those big brown puppy dog eyes. Ah so precious, right? Then, in the next breath he bites your hand with his little needle teeth and runs away ignoring your every word.
Or maybe you plan to go on a nice relaxing stroll with your new furry best friend, only to be yanked this way and that by a puppy sized monster, barking at everyone that passes by and dismissing you completely?
Teamwork Dog Obedience is a dog training school located on the north side of Brisbane. Owned and operated since 1999 by Alex and Maureen Greenhalgh and with over 35 years' experience and a love for dogs great and small, you can't go wrong.
Alex, Maureen and their team of experienced and dedicated trainers run a couple of different classes for the varying levels of obedience: Puppy School, Basic Obedience, and Advanced Training at Competition Levels, including Rally O and Agility. They also offer problem solving and home visits for those more specific and difficult problems.
Who's a good boy?
Teamwork Obedience works on positive reinforcement, reward based methods of training for all of their classes.
Puppy School is ideal for the new dog owner who can be overwhelmed by the challenge of raising a well behaved dog. With a focus on socialisation, Teamwork offers a safe environment for this to happen. Basic commands such as sit, down and stay are practised as well.
Basic Obedience (or Big School) is a follow on from Puppy School and reinforces the basic commands whilst introducing walking comfortably on a lead and confident recalling.
Advanced Obedience is the beginnings of competition style training and obedience as well as agility and 'Rally O' courses.
