For anyone who lives South of Adelaide, or doesn't mind a leisurely Sunday drive South of Adelaide, it is a must to experience the lovely ambience of The Teal Turtle.

Located in picturesque Port Noarlunga, the Teal Turtle offers a varied menu – you can grab a hot breakfast, rolls, sandwiches or baked delights such as quiches, croissants or an amazing array of cookies.

They have pasties home-made by someone who lives in the not-too-far away Mclaren Vale and their coffee is beautifully presented and hits the spot while looking out of the vast, open windows at the sea-views.

Best of all, it is child friendly!

There is a children's corner, complete with a little play-kitchen and a table for drawing. The change facilities are very well attended to and have lovely homely touches. There are a few different dining areas – you can take your pick from out the front, where you can lap up the sunshine and views, inside adjacent to the kiddy corner so you can keep a watchful eye or a gorgeous more secluded area with couches.

There are also high chairs and ample room for prams.

The café staff members are all very friendly and personable and certainly made our experience pleasant. It's going to become a regular haunt for me, I am sure.

The Teal Turtle is located at 9 Saltfleet Street Port Noarlunga.
It is a daytime café and is open Wednesday –Monday from 8am-4pm and they take a well-deserved day off on Tuesdays.
