You won't believe what you'll find
I recently found myself standing outside the brand new Sydney Crown. Looking at it from the bottom up, I was in awe of the size and shape of the building.

My curiosity kicked in and I wandered inside, not sure what I would find.

Without hesitation, I approached one of the staff to find out whether there was a viewing deck, given the tower is centrally located at Barangaroo. The incredibly helpful concierge advised that not all parts of the building were yet opened, however, he told me of the Teahouse, which is located on the 3rd floor.

Stunningly decorated, this lounge bar does not disappoint. From brightly coloured lounges to cosy birdcages, you can enjoy a quiet tea with friends or an exotic cocktail after work.

You can even grab a little something to eat.

Some of their cold dishes include:
Fresh Oysters Salmon Roe
Bush Tomato Mountain Pepper Seared Yellow Fin Tuna
Classic Hainanese Chicken Roulade

Prices from $25 - $40

If you fancy something hot, try:

Dim Sum in 3
• Crispy Dumpling Logster Har Gao
• Xiao Long Bao Pork & Crab Dumplings
• Peking Duck Confit

Prices: $25 - $40

For dessert, you can't go wrong with:

• White Rabbit Candy White Chocolate Mouse
• Yogurt Marshmallow Mousse
• Chilled Chrysanthemum & Osmanthus Pudding

Prices: $18 - $22

If liquid lunch tickles your fancy, go for one of their signature cocktails:

• Mandella
• Full Harvest
• Sun of Rum
• Lychee and Rose Tea Martini

Prices: $24

Their menu also includes soft drinks, beer, coffee and specialty teas.

(Please note these prices are from June 2021 and are subject to change).

Right from when you walk in, there is so much to take in, but what really grabbed my attention was the indoor outdoor area with stunning water views.

Get there just before sunset and watch the sun go down, while ferries and boats bob in the harbour and the world rushes by.

Getting to Barrangaroo

You can either catch a ferry from Circular Quay or drive and park at one of the many nearby carparks.

If you go during the week, parking can be costly, but weekend rates are generally very reasonable.
