How many times have you heard people argue over the best place to grab a coffee? I often accompany my husband to these places for breakfasts only to find that their teas are horrible. Sometimes burnt, sometimes bitter, they are almost always awful. There doesn't seem to be too many places out there that specialise in tea, which I find odd, since tea is popular.
I am obsessed with green tea and actually started carrying different teas in my handbag (crazy tea lady) after being disappointed, so often.
Emergency tea supply
However there is a rainbow after my tea rain clouds have departed – I have found a few favourites. Places I know have a good green tea, and won't burn them either.
Blissful would be an understatement. They carry every tea available in their stores so nothing is off limits. The people who work there genuinely love tea and are constantly experimenting (I assume this after chatting with the staff about baking with green tea).
They offer teas to go and cute iced teas in bottles. My favourite is a hot green tea with ginger and pumping pomegranate. It's especially good if you have morning sickness, or any kind of nausea – slightly sweet and ginger to heal.
2). Theic Tea Bar 77 Cromwell St, Collingwood VIC 3066
I feel like Theic Tea bar is like going to a brewery for beer lovers. It's not your regular Friday night pub. It's a bit classier, cooler, with a splash of hipster. Everything I've had I loved – definitely try the white teas. Slightly pricier than Tea2 but they have 100% vegan options which I appreciate even though I'm not vegan.
