Bubble teas just got more exciting
Adelaidians, prepare yourselves! There's a new bubble tea store in town, but what makes Tea Degrees a standout is that they are Adelaide's 1st Gourmet Bubble Tea Store.

While customers will be able to enjoy the classic options of fruit tea and milk tea, there will also be some delightful options of gourmet tea, such as Rocky Road, After Dinner Mint, Salted Caramel & even pre-workout Whey Protein Bubble Teas.

Co-owned by Anthony Till and John Luong and proudly South Australian, Tea Degrees hopes to provide a modern and fun twist on the original Taiwanese treat that incorporates the essential elements such as tea, milk, and sugar, in addition to adding the best part - the toppings - such as tapioca balls (pearls / boba), fruit jelly, aloe vera, agar jelly, and puddings.

Enjoyed hot, room temperature, or iced, this is a drink that is a pick-me-up that will leave you refreshed, energized, and be a great option of a snack, no matter what time of the day.

Hoping to fill the gap by offering a healthier selection of bubble teas, Luong (a self-confessed Bubble Tea fanatic) shook hands with Till and started on a business venture together. The name Tea Degrees was Luong's wife (Uyen Mai)'s idea, which perfectly captures the essence of providing the versatility of the teas on their menu.

For those looking for a pick-me-up while working in the city, there are also options of bubble coffee! Using ingredients by Elementary Coffee, Dutch cocoa, and high-quality milk, there is an abundance of selected items of offer - some of which are also vegan and full of protein.

Tea Degrees is unique in the sense that it allows customers with the freedom to choose from the teas on their menu, or even customize and create their own tea! Who knows - if it gets popular enough, it might even find a place on the menu.

Local artist Nicky Create has also incorporated her impeccable murals into the space, which has a feature wings wall, so next time you pop in for a drink, make sure you take a photo by the wings! The space may be small, but it's all levels of cute, minimalistic, and has their little quirks that add to the unique essence of the store overall.
