The Tea Centre
Situated in the Brisbane Arcade off the Queen Street Mall in the City, the Tea Centre, as the name suggests, carries a large range of teas along with tea-pots and tea accessories. The range of teas include a whole bunch of categories including afternoon, evening and morning teas, aromatic, light and strong teas and teas to have with or without milk; in fact the walls are lined with many tins of tea giving the impression that they are going to have just about any type.

The Tea Centre's website claims that the teas are sourced from around the world and only contain natural ingredients. The teas have no artificial flavours or colours added and are tested to European standards and air-freighted to Australia to maintain freshness. The teas quaffed by the author certainly seemed fresh, fragrant and tasty although I must admit that I am no connoisseur.

Having visited the store several times I have found the staff polite and knowledgeable. Not only this, but I have always found what I was looking for, whether a gift or some sort of tea I had a fancy for.

The Tea Centre has an online store at www.theteacentre.com.au and suburban stores around South East Queensland, Toowoomba, Townsville and interstate.

All up The Tea Centre has been in my experience a good place to find an interesting gift or a tea with a difference and a pleasant store to shop at.

Hello Ryan, I love nothing more than a good cup of tea and a lie down in the afternoons. Must investigate the Centre next time I'm in town. Thanks for the heads up. Regards, Tony
