Nothing less than a journey of South Australia's produce from paddock to plate is at Tasting Australia , where foodies come to discover what's new on the menu. There's much to crow about at an event filled with world-class chefs, and unique moreish food and beverage experiences. Adelaide has reclaimed its mantle with the title of Gourmet Traveller's Restaurant of the Year 2018 awarded to Restaurant Orana for the first time in 20 years. The Weekend Australian's Hottest Chef title went to Jock Zonfrillo , executive chef of said same restaurant.

The big ticket item, the Glasshouse Kitchen , a sold out attraction in 2017 returns. Glasshouse Kitchen - Spice and Fire has again sold out, but you can still experience other Glasshouse Kitchen events like, Generations (the worlds of old and new collide), Rivers and Seas (freshly-caught and freshwater fare is front and centre of this menu), Chefs behind the Chefs (meet the masterminds behind the headline chefs), Seed & Soil (lavish plates bursting with flavour celebrating vegetables, grains and legumes), Comrades (selling fast) (8 kick-ass chefs in the kitchen), Naturale (beauty in simplicity, best ingredients showcased in their natural glory), and The Romans (quintessential Italian tradition of a long lunch shared in good company), all at the Town Square .

It's not all just about food, the East End Cellars Masterclasses is your chance to experience wine with the experts at a Masterclass like you've never experienced before. Deepen your understanding of Australian wine, beer and spirits through an incredible journey from glass to glass. With over 20 Masterclasses on offer across Town Sq and the CBD, there's something for every taste.


Fly Away with Tasting Australia Airlines to experience something beyond special, connecting you with food and wine like never before. Escape the city, board TAA (Taste Australia Airlines) and buckle yourself in for the day of pure culinary decadence. Within one luxurious hour from Adelaide airport, you'll begin your adventure and be back in Adelaide in time for a nightcap before bed. You'll have to get yourself to the airport first!

If you're still on L Plates around the kitchen, the best way to learn a new skill is to do it yourself. Join a series of hands-on cooking classes and ignite your passions with some of the state's best-known chefs and food heroes, with plenty of time to hone techniques with an amazing team of mentors.


The Westfield Marion, Tea Tree Plaza and West Lakes are also hosting a food and wine weekend in-Centre on the 21st and 22nd of April in conjunction with Tasting Australia .
