Nineteen of Rutherglen and districts great wineries will combine to showcase the regions wines and produce during the annual festival to be staged over the weekend of March 11th - 12th.

The 2-days will be jam-packed full of events including winery tours, dinners, Masterclasses and wine & food matching sessions.

A range of outstanding special events will include the 'Twilight Dinner In The Vines" at All Saints Estate, Pfeiffer Wines ' Dinner', Campbell's Wines 'Cellar Door After Dark' and a host of Masterclasses and behind the scenes guided tours at various wineries.

A full list of these events and associated costs is available on the website. Numbers are limited and you will have to book directly with the individual wineries.

Two shuttle bus services will operate throughout the weekend.

The Winery Shuttle Bus is a hop-on/hop-off service operating between the 19 wineries. Tickets cost $27 per day.

The Regional Bus Winery Shuttle Bus is a return service picking up passengers at Corowa, Wahgunyah, Yarrawonga, Mulwala, Bundalong, Wangaratta, Chiltern, Beechworth, Howlong, Albury & Wodonga and connecting with the Winery Shuttle Bus.

Tickets cost $37 per day.

Children under 16 can travel on either bus for $12 per day.

Note: the cost of the bus ticket does not include festival entry.

Cost of admission to the festival for both days is $20 and includes a complimentary tasting glass for use at participating wineries.

Tickets may be purchased on-line, on the day at participating wineries or at the Rutherglen Visitor Information Centre.

Comprised of more than 20 individual wineries the Rutherglen Wine region is renowned for its product of Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Durif, Gewurtztraminer and Shiraz but is particularly well known for its sweet fortified wines.

The festival is a great opportunity to sample some of those fabulous wines together with fine food and other produce grown locally.
