Fine Wines On Show
Saturday and Sunday the 10th and 11th of March are a great opportunity for wine lovers to sample the produce of 19 fabulous wineries in Victoria's northeast at the annual Tastes of Rutherglen food and wine festival.

This is one of those great regional weekends out where visitors can travel from winery to winery tasting the incredible flavours of this renowned wine producing region along with some great food and laid-back country hospitality.
Some of the wineries participating this year include All Saints Estate, St Leonards Vineyard, Morris Wines, Rutherglen Estates, Scion Vineyard and Pfeiffer Wines to name just a few. Festival admission price is $20 per person and covers admission to participating wineries on both days, entry wristband and tasting glass.

A Winery Shuttle Bus ticket costs $27, is valid for one day and allows unlimited access to buses operating on three different routes between the participating wineries. Make sure you visit the website to see which wineries feature on each of the three routes and exactly what's happening at each of those wineries. Ticket price does not include Festival entry.
A Regional Bus Service will operate, too, from towns and centres throughout the region, from Wangaratta in the south, to Howlong in the north, Albury-Wodonga in the east and Yarrawonga-Mulwala in the west. Cost is $37 for a return trip and includes access to the hop on/hop off shuttle bus. Regional bus tickets are valid for 1-day only and do not include cost of entry to the festival.
Tastes of Rutherglen is as much aabout some great food produce as it is about fabulous wines.
Rutherglen is at the heart of one of Victoria's premier tourism regions so you can be sure there is plenty of excellent accommodation available in the district should you choose to make a weekend of it.
Rutherglen is 284 Kilometres northeast of Melbourne, just over a 3-hour drive via the Nation Highway M31.
Don't you be the one to miss out on the Tastes of Rutherglen experience over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday the 10th & 11th of March.
