In good taste
The best thing about being a foodie is that you always have an excuse to try new restaurants. Not that I need an excuse, but I'm glad to have one anyway. My latest venture was to Taste of Malaya in Castle Hill. A local favourite, it boasts a mix of Chinese, Singaporean and Malaysian dishes. The food is tasty, with reasonable portion sizes and prices. My personal recommendations would be a rotis as an entrée, and a noodle dish as a main.

If you happen to be there for lunch, take advantage of the lunch specials menu, with a range of meals that are 10% off. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and if you have special dietary requirements, they are more than happy to tailor the menu items for you. What I particularly like about this place is that despite the other diners, it's fairly quiet, and a great place for having deep and meaningful conversations over dinner.

Overall, Taste of Malaya is a great place to enjoy good food in a nice atmosphere. Located in the Castle Towers Piazza, it's a great place to people watch, or enjoy a meal before heading to the movies. It's a great place to eat with your family, not so great if you're not a fan of anything spicy.
