Prepare your appetite and be part of all things fun at Taste of Kingscliff & the Tweed Coast from Friday 11 to Sunday 20 July.

There will be lots of free family friendly activities as well as awesome ticketed events over 10 days in different locations along the beautiful Tweed coastline. So no matter your taste or budget, there is definitely something here for you.

The Festival kicks off with Nortec Employment and Training Official Opening Luncheon at Kingscliff each Bowls Club on Friday 11 July. Come and celebrate the grand opening with Geoff Provest MP and enjoy a delicious lunch at noon. Then make sure you stick around for the cutting of the Cakes By the Moon festival cake. You can book your tickets now for $60.



Soak up the winter sun and enjoy the great outdoors at Tweed's Biggest Picnic on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 July. Bring the kids and grab your friends to this free event at Jack Evans Boat Harbour. From 10am to 4pm, come and munch on scrumptious food from local and visiting market stalls featuring an international mixture of food.

In addition, if you love making, baking and creating things in the kitchen, then make sure you pop by the various engaging cooking displays and demonstrations. This is your opportunity to pick up some tips and tricks from local and well-known chefs.

Of course, music and entertainment will be provided and 102.9 Hot Tomato will be making an appearance. There will be so much fun and frivolity at the Picnic so come and get a taste of all the awesome things the Tweed Shire has to offer!



If you fancy a leisurely morning cruise on the pristine Tweed River, then High Tea on the Tweed is for you. Come aboard on the Golden Swan for a relaxing two-hour cruise. A selection of sweet and savoury delicacies accompanied by a range of teas and coffees will tantalise your tastebuds. The cruise departs at 10.30am from Tweed Marina. Tickets are $40 per person and you can purchase your tickets by clicking here . As there is limited seating, make sure you book them early.

And don't miss your chance to feast on a mouth-watering meal at Scoot Long Table Dinner on Saturday 19 July in Lion's Park on Marine Parade. This event is a must-attend if you're a foodie and love to have a fabulous time. Organise a night out with your friends or make new ones at this event. Taster at Salt Village is another free family friendly event on Sunday 20 July. From 8am, there will be plenty of hot and cold delights waiting for you to sample and taste. An impressive range of local and international food will be available as well as several amazing cooking demonstrations.
