Melbourne is home to free events throughout the year. And this time you get to savour free ice-cream – courtesy of Taste of Japan Yummy Fun Truck. You will get a chance to sample wacky and wonderful flavours.

In celebration of Qantas launching a new flight from Melbourne to Tokyo, the will hit the streets of Melbourne proffering free Japanese themed ice creams throughout February and March.

The truck will park in various locations in Melbourne every weekend from 19 February 2017 until 12 March 2017.

The auspicious dates and locations are as follows:
Sunday 19th February from 12pm: Southern Cross Station
Saturday 25th February from 12pm: Urban Amphitheatre, Federation Square
Sunday 26th February from 12pm: Southern Cross Station
Saturday 4th March from 12pm: St Kilda Foreshore
Sunday 5th March from 12pm: St Kilda Foreshore
Saturday 11th March from 12pm: Queensbridge Square
Sunday 12th March from 12pm: Queensbridge Square

Remember, free ice-cream is not the only thing you get to enjoy on the house. You will also get the opportunity to win one of five return holidays for two people to Japan. In order to win these marvellous holidays, you will have to partake in a Japanese inspired game show and try your luck at the Yummy Fun Truck vending machine.
