'A Taste of Culture' is an exciting series of 'come and try activities' proudly presented by City of Playford and Grenville Community Connections Hub.

All the events will take place on Saturday 18th March from 10am and held in the convenient location of Grenville Community Connections Hub.

All are welcome to participate and join in the fun - it's a great opportunity to learn a new skill, embrace a new culture and get in touch with your creative side.

Come and take part in one activity or complete them all and travel the world in one day - it's up to you!

All activities will be held in a relaxed and social atmosphere, so come along with your friends or come on your own and make some new friends!

The program for the day is as follows:

  • 10am -11am: Yoga/Meditation $10

  • 11:15am -12:15pm: Henna $15

  • 12:30am -1:00pm: Lunch (low cost curry lunch available to purchase)

  • 1:15pm -2:30pm: Upcycled Wall Hanging $15

  • 2:45pm -3:45pm: Belly Dancing $15

    The Gabriela Mistral Spanish Speaking School and Cultural Centre Inc, The Buena Amistad Spanish Speaking Over 50's Arts Group and The Spanish Speaking Inspirations Group of the City of Playford will also be hosting a 'A Taste of Culture' celebration at Grenville Community Connections Hub from 11am to 2pm.

    Come and enjoy Piņata Making Workshops, Craft Workshops Salsa Dance Workshops, Board Games, Children's Dances and Face Painting. There will also be delicious Chilean Hotdogs and Latin American Cakes.
