A much needed green therapy for city dwellers
Want to get away from the city hustle? Tarra Bulga National Park is your ideal escape. Located in South Gippsland area, this small park will transport you to a different world with thick forests and lush ferns. It particularly comes alive after a rainfall.

It took around three hours for us to get there but the scenic drive was well worth it. We packed a ton of snacks and picnic stuff for the trip. The park has big picnic grounds and toilets located at the entry point. It's a good idea to have a snack before you start your hike.

The walk through tall Mountain Ash trees and the dense fern carpet will surely keep you refreshed during your hike. Don't forget to take a bottle of water because it's quite a long walk.
We took the Corrigan Suspension Bridge loop walk, which is moderately easy(even for kids). It almost took us one hour to get to the bridge and the view, in the end, did not disappoint.

The view from the bridge is amazing and out of this world. There is a small lookout before you reach the bridge if you are keen on taking photos of the bridge.

If you are looking for a full-day trip around Melbourne to spend time outdoors, Tarra Bulga National Park is a perfect choice.
