I am always looking out for new experiences, wherever I may find myself.

The Przewalski's horse of central Asia is a critically endangered wild horse subspecies. It is a true wild horse, unlike feral horses which are descendants of once domesticated animals.

Taronga Western Plains Zoo has been actively trying to help raise the wild population by releasing ten groups of their horses into Hustai National Park in Mongolia since 1994.

The results have been positive. But you don't have to travel that far! You can find these horses on show at the zoo in Dubbo, a few hours from Sydney.
